Hi I am Ida, I created sweet Ida's.
I lived in Mexico for a year. In Mexico, I made an apple cake and it was delicious. My mom had the idea to sell cakes to a bakery. My mom went to a bakery called Cafe Zua after her Crossfit class. She asked the owner if I could make a cake and they try it to see how it tasted. A few weeks later I went and they said it was delicious. They started to order cakes first all apple cakes then they asked for something with banana so I made banana bread. They ordered the banana bread most of the time. Towards the end of Mexico they ordered 3 - 5 cakes a week.

This cookbook was published by my aunt Marianne to celebrate my great grandma Rooks. My great grandmother loved to bake. This is where I get most of my recipes.

- Apple cake, the apple cake is a cake with a brown sugar sauce.
- Banana bread, banana bread has caramelized banana on top
- Chocolate ice water cake, this is a classic chocolate cake
- Raspberry cake, this cake has a grapefruit glaze
- Chocolate zucchini orange cake, this cake may seem weird but really it dose taste normal
- lemon poppy seed cake, this cake is a bit sour but has a blueberry glaze on top.
